Could you try to download Visual Studio and see if it works if you compile the code yourself?

I installed Studio and GitHub ( a useful learning experience) and discovered you need to install VB power tools 10.0
to get it to build. I also discovered the original .exe works after installing power tools. The project is currently set to build in debug not release which might have solved the problem to begin with . Either way you guys have made a great product !

Good to hear you got it working.
The .exe file should be from a release build, but yes the default build type is debug if you build it from source.
Thank you!

Thanks! That solved the problem with the VB app for me too, only needed to download this:

Microsoft Visual Basic Power Packs 10.0
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=145727&clcid=0x804‎

and now it works! (Windows 7 x64)

To use CPROXY under Windows 7, please try to install CPROXY to different drive, for example to D:CPROXY folder.
